Delusional Dogs: "DD"

Dog Owner: "The client" & "The Dog"

Service/Care: "The Assignment"

1. The Client declares to have third-party liability insurance (W.A. Insurance) and the Dog must be included as “co-insured”. The Client remains liable at all times for the actions of their dog and is therefore at all times liable for the damage caused by the Dog.

2. [Dog Walk] All dogs are taken in a small group, minimum 1 hours spent in a park. [Dog Walk]

3. DD reserves the right to choose when/if to walk dogs and to refuse to walk on the grounds of problematic behaviour or other reasons at their discretion.

4. The Dog must obey basic commands (if not in English please provide these).

5. The Dog should be social in dealing with other dogs as well as other people. If the Dog exhibits any behavioural problems, they must be indicated by the Client to DD prior to the Assignment.

6. The Client undertakes to ensure that the dog is present on the agreed day(s) and time(s).

7. The Client is obligated to notify DD of any cancellation at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to notify in a timely manner may be billed in full. (Details of this can be found here).

8. [Dog Walk] The Client is obliged to ensure that DD has access to the place where the dog is located,for which the Assignment is concluded.

   1. Note: Any key to the Client’s property will be handled by DD with the utmost care and will only be used for collecting and bringing your dog home. No address details will be kept with the key, only your dog's name.​

9. While in the care of DD, the Dog must have a collar (or harness) with a name tag with the name of the Client and telephone number where they can be reached.

   1. ​Note: Negative reinforcement collars (e.g. no slip chains & prong collars) are not acceptable.

   2. DD's own collars may be used with DD's contact details printed on them.

10. The Dog must be free of lice, ticks, fleas and worms, must be in good health, anddemonstrably have been vaccinated with the annual cocktail vaccination.

11. If the Dog is in heat, or has any medical issues or abnormalities DD will need to be notified a minimum of 48 hours in advance.

12. DD will do their utmost to prevent injury, illness or other conditions to the dog by taking all appropriate precautions, but will not be held accountable for incurred injuries, illness or damage to and by the Dog during the Assignment.

13. DD will not be held accountable for illness, infection, injury and/or conditions that your dog may incur during the Assignment, except in the case of direct causation or malicious intent.

14. In the event of an accident, injury or illness, DD will attempt to contact the Client. If the Client is not directly accessible DD is authorised to consult a veterinarian at the expense of the Client, and may authorise medical actions and/or medicines, if necessary, at their discretion.

15. The Client will be held accountable to any costs incurred or to be incurred as a result of the Dog in the care of DD or with the same origin that can be traced back to the Assignment, such as illness, injury, damages, disorders or death caused by the dog.

16. DD will not be held responsible for the loss of the Dog by death, theft or runaway. In the event of a runaway or theft, DD will take all reasonable steps to aid in the Dog’s safe return to the Client.

17. The Client accepts that multimedia collected by DD during the Assignment can be used for own purposes and shared on social media.

18. DD will not be held accountable for loss of accessories while on the Assignment.

19. The Client accepts that they will pay the total of an invoice within 30 days of receipt via defined payment options, if not a late fee may be added which payment is also agreed.

20. If due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure (e.g. calamities, illness, vehicle breakdown, etc.) DD is unable to care for the dog, DD will inform the Client of this as soon as possible. Any damage or costs as a result of this cannot be recovered from DD.

21. DD reserves the right to suspend the service during holidays and days off. The Client will be informed of this at least 48 hours in advance.

22. The Client acknowledges that the dog can sometimes be wet and dirty upon return, as a result of play or other agreed upon activities.
